Handicap Management System
| CTGA has purchased a Handicap Management System developed by
GolfSoftware.com and uses approved USGA fomulas for computing handicap differentials and indexes. Although the USGA uses the lowest 10 adjusted scoring rounds of a player's most recent 20 rounds of golf, CTGA uses the lowest 5 adjusted scoring rounds of a member's most recent 10 rounds. Our decision to calculate member handicaps based on CTGA tournaments only is why we use 5 of 10 rounds. We feel that this helps maintain equity within our handicap system. For those who need official handicap indexes for special non-CTGA tournaments, we can provide this with full 10 of 20 round calculation, providing you've played 20 CTGA rounds. CTGA members may request to view our Handicap Management System by contacting Eddie Nunez.
