...a weekend league with all tournaments played on Saturday or Sunday. Our 2003 schedule consists of 27 events, including two 2-day events (our 2-Player Team Championship in June and our year-end CTGA Classic in September).
Our annual CTGA dues are $45.00, payable at your first tournament. CTGA dues for new members who join after July 1st is $25.00.
Our individual tournament fees include course fee (green fee and cart, if included) and the CTGA prize fund fee, usually $15, for Flight and Team competition and our Close-To-Pin competitions. We have an optional $5.00 Skins competition at all events. Tournament fees are paid at the course on tournament day.
Most of our tournaments fees fall in the $35-$55 range. We have some events at $60 or more. These include our two 2-Day tournaments and events at up-scaled courses.
Tournament formats include individual Medal Play and Modified Stableford and our Team formats include 2-Player and 4-Player Team events. Only one Team event each year will be a Select Shot (Scramble) or Modified Select Shot format.
If you are a male or female amateur golfer in the greater Austin, Texas area, you are welcome to join CTGA.

Handicap index if you have an active official USGA/GHIN handicap established at a Club or another league, or.... Self-Declared handicap using our CTGA Self-Handicapping Chart.
It couldn't be easier.
If you provide us with an active official USGA/GHIN handicap index you are immediately eligible to compete in all CTGA competitions, including our Individual and Team player pools, Close-To-Pin, and optional Skins. If you don't have an established handicap and self-declare your handicap, you can compete in all Team player pool, Close-To-Pin and Skin competitions, but must play in 3 CTGA tournaments before being eligible for regular Individual Flight player pool competition.
USGA and CTGA Rules of Play govern all CTGA tournament play as shown in our Rules & Regulations page. Any deviation to the normal Rules of Play will be advised on a by-tournament basis.
