Moving Data from One Computer to Another Computer

Occasionally there is a need to move Website Designer data from one computer to another. With the 2007 version of GolfSoftware.com software, this has become much easier by using the Internet.

The overall concept is to either physically or electronically transport your Website Designer data from your "source" computer to the "destination" computer.

Physically moving data involves storage mediums such as...

Electronically moving data involves...

Tip:  Did you know you can always make a backup to your hard dive and copy the backup file to anywhere you wish? You can even email it as an attachment to another computer.

  1. Click the Browse button.
  2. Drop down Save In box and select Desktop.
  3. Click Save button.

After it has saved the backup file...look on your desktop for the file starting with WD200x with backup date  and time (see Figure 1). This is your backup file. League Manager backs up all data into this one file. Use Windows to copy (drag and drop) the file to any folder, drive, or even email it to the other computer to be restored.
