Creating a New Web Page

First, Decide What Page Elements You Will Need

Whenever you create a new web page for your website using Website Designer, the first consideration is what you want to display on this new page. Page elements include but are not limited to the following:

Next, Decide What Blank Page Type Will Do What You Need

Website Designer has 8 Page Types from which you can create your web pages. Each page type has certain capabilities while lacking others. Based on the elements you decide you need for the new web page (above), you choose the blank page type with which to start. Please refer to Page Types and Capabilities Table below for information on what each blank page type can do.

Example: Let's say you want to display a View or Report from your golf software and you want to add a photo as well. You would look down the left hand column showing capabilities and then determine which type(s) of page(s) could both display a View/Report as well as let you insert a photo. You see that either the "Existing" or "Spreadsheet" pages meet your needs.

Steps to Create a New Web Page

Open Website Designer by selecting "Website Designer" from the "Internet" menu of your golf software.

  1. From the Menu menu select "Insert menu item (New)"

  2. Select the "Page Type" of new page you want to create by double clicking on a Page Type and clicking on the Insert button.

  3. Type in the Page Name and the Menu text. You may also type a comment about the page. The Menu text is what appears in the left hand navigation menu if you choose to keep this new page on the navigation menu. When you have filled in the information, click the OK button.

  4. You will now see the page has been added to the navigation menu.

  5. You have now created a blank Document type page. You could just as well have added another Page Type depending on your needs. The blank page is now ready for adding your content.
