Purpose of Announcement Page Type


The purpose of the Announcement page type is to provide a very simple method of creating web pages.


Capabilities of the Announcement Page Type


The Announcement page has one capability: to add text. You can add text in pre-defined fields such as Page Title (and subtitle), Announcement, Headlines and Text. You have no control over font size, style or color.

Create an Announcement Page


  1. From within Website Designer, make sure you have the "Menu" tab selected (rather than the Pages tab).


  1. From the Menu menu select "Insert menu item (New)"

  2. Select the "Blank - Announcement Page" by doubleclicking on it or highlighting/selecting (click once with left mouse button) it and clicking on the Insert button.



  3. Enter information into "Page Information" window and click OK button.



  4. Your new Announcement page is now on the navigation menu.

  5. Click in any of the areas labeled and enter text as you wish.
